They’ve got digital systems for everything, yet archaic, they’re headaches and nightmares.

Navigating the Government of Canada websites, heartaches and despair.

A trove of information for all that glitters,

But the critical bits for independence, hidden among the critters.

You’ll spend 48 hours or a week’s pay,

Finding the hidden tunes, the bureaucratic ballet.

Schooled in the formal way, yet you ponder,

Why don’t schools teach this blunder?

What’s the value of education if we leave school to slave,

In a system where only the greedy rave?

Portals and hubs, like songs with hidden lyrics,

Written in code, causing cognitive hysterics.

Only the author knows the rhyme,

Everyone else needs a PhD, a lifetime.

Broken English, no technical jargon,

Makes you question your own comprehension.

Yeah, tech updates are dear…

The world’s moved on, Canada, rear.

We’re too woke, yet not enough,

Anxiety, nightmares, it’s tough.

We have skills, but fail to use them,

Canada, like Epiales, dreams in mayhem.

Deskill and devalue immigrant contributions,

Let’s create more nightmares, no resolutions.

Dark powers and rulers in high places,

You write stories from narrow spaces.

You sleep, we live the fright,

Your nightmares shall come, endless night.

Wake up, Canada, you’re woke but in a daze,

Just nightmares! Waking up into a gaze.

Food insecurity surges, 30% more, demand for food banks skyrocket.

Healthcare access at an all-time low; carry your pillow and blanket.

For broken bones, bring your splint and tourniquet, you might thank it.

Social inclusion, a spooky ghost we only whisper about.

A new ride isn’t enough; park it for five minutes, and the “ride burglar” figure it out.

Forced prostitution and drug poisoning: 14% opioid use, 4% illicit drugs use,

Only— beans, Tina, speed, nose candy, Apache, dull the pain and set the muse.

The resolve? Greenbelt scandal like rain.

Taxpayers shell out $225M to sell booze, it’s just insane.

Homelessness haunts us—38% in Ontario, 19.6% in the Prairies, 19.7% in BC.

Emergency shelters bursting at the seams, refugees find no refuge outside.

Housing crisis? Indeed! Show us the plan.

Ontario said, 19,660 units, catch us if you can.

Federal says, “Holding back $357 million, only 6% done.”

Ontario retorts, “28% can be won.”

Other provinces hit two-thirds, why the hold-up?

Housing issue or greed problem, just nightmares!

Buildings rise, but Tent City’s plight,

Couch surfing souls in the night.

Affordable houses? Nowhere in sight.

Condos for rent, but wallets are tight.

Millennials, Gen-Z, home dreams out of sight,

Even houses can’t pay the mortgages… Greed’s blight.

Aging population, low birth rates,

Who wants to bring kids to this fate?

Can’t survive, don’t want another to strive,

My heart skips, in deep sleep, I dive,

Canada, land of lucid, vivid dreams
